Orthocell Targets Asian Market Growth with Singapore Debut of Remplir Nerve Repair Device

Orthocell, an Australian leader in regenerative medicine, has taken a significant step into the Asian market, signing an agreement with Device Technologies Asia to distribute its innovative peripheral nerve repair device, Remplir, in Singapore.

This milestone marks Orthocell’s expansion into Singapore following regulatory approval of Remplir, a collagen nerve wrap, manufactured using the proprietary SMRT process to preserve collagen structure, optimise tissue integration, and provide surgeons with an advanced solution for restoring nerve function and improving patients’ quality of life.

Peripheral nerve injuries caused by accidents or trauma affect millions annually, often resulting in pain, numbness, or reduced mobility and repairing these injuries through surgery is a delicate and challenging process, with varying success rates.

Remplir enhances the treatment process by creating a protective, compression-free environment that supports nerve healing, offering patients the possibility of enhanced mobility and independence.

Device Technologies Asia will leverage its strong market presence and continued growth in the Asian market to bring Orthocell’s innovative device to plastic and orthopaedic surgeons in Singapore.
